There are four pictures to make a quess - what is in the picture.

1. Autumn mushrooms
2. Man in the space, watching back to the Earth
3. A ski jumper is passing by your head
4. Looking for a new TV from the Internet shopping website
5. A little child´s first closer view to the Santa Claus (beard)

The Beauty of Life

This is a picture that came out from a little pencil line in the middle of the picture, representing modern art in its ways of new interpretations, abstract and simple forms. People around the painting are confused about its meaning. The title says "The Beauty of Life" and the artist knows what he is doing, how simple things may be...

Story about the Box Man

The Box Man

This is a story about a man who wants to get away from his inner limitations that appear to be symmetrical lines and quares in his real, visible life. Finally he discovers that all limitations are just the projections of his mind and he can consciously take them away and let the nature be the guide. In this way he learns to dream. By dreaming we get "out of the box" and discover new realities, so many new possibilities arrise, as well as the creative energy in ourselves.
The man in this story lives a depressed life in the beginning (on the story board picture 1-4) but very suddenly he notices that everything is just about the perspective of seeing and interpreting the reality (picture 4-5). In the end he decides to "open his mind" (picture 5) and then, by seeing through his mind and thoughts, he sees the possibility for another options and ways of living, more open and free than the ones he has experienced before in his life (picture 6). The world has now another and more clear meaning.

This can surely be a longer story than on the story board, but here we can see some main points of the story. Comic strip can be made into a short film or animation, having a bit humorous, as well as philosophical feeling inside. So called "box man" or main character transforms during the story into a more free and self confident person.

The story board: starting from a general view to apartment, then moving to a window and man. Then we see the man´s point of view and his eye behind the paper box, while opening its little hole and peeking outside, finally taking the box away from his head and looking it from outside view.

Where the Christmas presents come from?

An idea for a short animation (and later multimedia) project. Made as a group work.

There is a planet far away in another galaxy, called "Ballywood". The planet is shaped as a gift - it is not around but just a big cube. This is the place where the habitants called bally´s - or balls - are formed and given birth by their mother, the planet itself, every year when the time is right. In this certain time new balls come out from a volcano and very soon are sent to another planets, mostly to the Earth. These balls can travel through space by bally-rays and simply land to the Earth and visit different houses and families. They are the future presents. So after they find the right family, they come to the house an evening before Christmas and turn into a present that the child or family member wishes to get. The only purpose of bally´s lives is to find the right family and then be the present till the end of their life. This is their greatest pleasure and wish to make good for others. They never turn to their home planet again - only as a spirit that connects again to their mother and formes a new body to be born. This is how the bally planet Ballywood lives, in the wish of making good to others at the time Christmas is coming. Every year new balles are formed and sent to be the gifts for people.

Ballywood (the planet), the volcano and bally balls.

Bally´s (from closer) - they have a big eye in the center and some are furry.

Time Thieves

This is a board game, an adventure through the head of a cat and through three themes that involve different knowledge and questions. The themes are: fishing and leisure time, adventure novels and literature, and theatre and cinema. Who manage to answer to the questions and gets to the end faster, is the winner of this game. A participant must save the time by having more spots on his dive and by answering the question that he pumps into. Questions are marked on the cards that are replaced to the forehead and cheeks of the big cat. By doing so, the game lasts as long as agreed, a one, three or more circles around the board. In the ending point the participator must hit the right place to confirm his finish.

Made as a group work.

Animation film idea (2.12.13).

Our group made an animation about a dragon cave and a brave knight who went for the adventure to kill the mighty dragon, a creature who is protecting the passage to the mysterious and valuable cave. The knight manages to kill the dragon but with no easy means. What is it actulally good for, remains still uncertain. It is a myth about the braveness and aims of life that we all construct.

The technique that is used:

*paper - the background and as well the characters are from paper; legs, hands and accessories are separated from each other to make them move;

*photo camera - to snap all the movements one by one and in the end create a video animation from all separate pictures; camera is placed to the table with a tripod.

Elevator Pitch

I am meeting future business people in the elevator...

"Hello sir, my name is Kristoffer. It is a great honour to meet you. You are working in this film company, right? I very much like all your programs and ideas as well. They are very well done! Actually I am working on a quite similar field, I like to make creative films and come up with new ideas as a film maker and artist. Because of this I have been keeping an eye on a bit what you are doing.

Can I come to visit your company for some time? Maybe I can help you with some projects as well, even as a volunteer. I would love to work with you with creative ideas or just observe and study a bit what you do. Would you mind to pass by? "

A short video: "Lifti (d)efekt" / "(D)efect of the Elevator"

This is a little improvisional clip about so-called "box phobia", titled as "(D)efect of the Elevator" that refers to the elevators in our apartments.
